Description
The Biggy holiday flat is located in a building in the historical centre of Olbia. It is a flat for exclusive use, without sharing, with a private entrance on the second floor.
The holiday flat Biggy is located on the second floor of a block of flats with only three floors.
It is located in one of Olbia's central streets opposite Piazza Mercato. In this square, until the 1950s, you could find the public wash-house where housewives went to wash their clothes. This is why it is called via Aqueduct.
The flat is generously sized - that is why it is called Biggy - and has two small balconies where you can have a drink or enjoy breakfast overlooking the square
The exposure is optimal because the flat always has a naturally mild temperature... which is especially welcome in summer!
THE ROOMS
Living room with kitchen
The living room with kitchenette is bright and has a sofa and a large dining table that can seat up to 8 people at once.
The kitchen is equipped with a microwave oven, refrigerator, dishes, bottle opener, can opener, ladles and many other kitchen utensils. From the living room there is access to the corridor and the 3 rooms of the flat.
Tea and coffee
There is a coffee pod machine and tea bags in the kitchen
The Rooms
Each room is independent and has access from inside the house. In all rooms there are flat screen TVs, air conditioners, wardrobe stand, relaxation chair and mirror.
The rooms are equipped with bed linen and a set of towels for each guest. Each room can accommodate up to two people - with single beds or a double bed.
Mattresses
The 27 cm mattresses have flex technology and hypoallergenic padding with a multi-elastic system that offers ideal support and flexibility.
We chose them because they are a guarantee for optimal rest.
The Pillows
The pillows are hypoallergenic in cotton and mite-proof fibres. Both soft and hard pillows are available for ideal support during sleep.
The bathroom
The bathroom is a large, bright room equipped with a washing machine, hairdryer and a bathtub with a rain shower effect.
Wi-Fi connection
Wi Fi connection is available throughout the house both in the rooms and in the living area. Connecting is really easy and there is no need to enter personal data.

The holiday flat is in a very central location. It is a short walk from Olbia Port Isola Bianca, a few minutes from Olbia Airport Costa Smeralda and close to the main shopping centres.
A few metres from the flat entrance is the post office with Postamat and Bancomat. Within walking distance are all the restaurants and pizzerias in the centre with plenty of activities, experiences and excursions to do.

The flat overlooks Olbia's historic Piazza del Mercato with 2 balconies and offers maximum comfort and convenience.
The house can accommodate up to 6 persons. It consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 living room with kitchenette, 1 bathroom. In the flat it is possible to add 2 extra beds with a small supplement.

THE CARRERA EZZA
At the 'La Carrera Ezza' restaurant, one can find typical food in the heart of Olbia's historic centre. It is a small restaurant run by a couple - she is the queen of the kitchen and he is the king of the tables - where you can find traditional dishes cooked in a revisited way. It is a very popular place even in winter.

DA PAOLO RESTAURANT
Restaurant da Paolo, opened in the 1970s, serves traditional dishes with a modern twist. The restaurant is housed in an old cellar, the walls are made of stone and the temperature is naturally cold (but there are air conditioners). Maria Grazia, the owner, is a very nice person and will know what to recommend.

BE FREE
If you like vegan and organic food, Be Free is definitely the best. Everything you eat is personally prepared by the guys. They really pay attention to ingredients and local food. A really interesting cuisine even if you are not vegan - like me - because they have a really unique way of serving vegetables, fruits and tasty smoothies.

TRATTORIA ROSSI
If you want to eat in a superb restaurant and enjoy the breathtaking scenery, Trattoria Rossi is one of our favourite restaurants. The restaurant is located right on the beach at Pittulongu and is famous in the city for its fresh fish dishes. Antonio Rossi, the owner and maître d', has a very professional attitude but, with his humour, also knows how to make you feel at home and welcome.

These are the things you absolutely must do if you come to Olbia
Dolphin sightings
If you have never seen dolphins (not in a cage), I absolutely recommend this tour. You can spot these majestic animals swimming and playing freely... It's truly amazing. Both adults and children will enjoy it.
If you want to experience the sea, I recommend booking online before arriving in Olbia, otherwise there is a high chance of not finding tickets available.
La Maddalena boat excursion
An absolute must-see is the wonderful La Maddalena National Park. Departure from Palau (40 minutes by car from Olbia). Petagus is our favourite tour. Friendly staff, fair prices, speechless beaches.

The historic centre of Olbia is very charming and is one of the most popular areas for tourists and locals. Via Acquedotto in particular is a very quiet street where cars cannot pass at night. For this reason, from 8 p.m. it is also possible to enjoy the neighbourhood on foot and rest in comfort and without traffic noise.
During the summer Olbia is at its best: events, cultural activities, typical restaurants and bars where you can hear live music and local artists. Everything is then enhanced by its proximity to the sea! In fact, Via Acquedotto where our facility is located is only a few hundred metres from Molo Brin, an ideal destination for pleasant walks and enjoying the sea breeze.
In the neighbourhood there are all essential services such as ATMs, restaurants, bars, shops for shopping. Also nearby are - train station (700 metres) - taxi rank (500 metres) - bus stops to reach beaches and the airport.
We love Olbia and all of Sardinia. We love discovering new places and returning to those we know by heart because they always reserve pleasant and unexpected surprises. Rita is originally from Loiri Porto San Paolo and represents the country soul of the couple. Sergio is from Olbia and instead represents the marine soul. We share long excursions inland but also great snorkelling trips. We recommend the best places to see and the best activities to do in and around Olbia.
