Its position dominates the entire surrounding area and the Golfo di Olbia.<\/p>\n<p>Built around 1200 with local stones, it was also used by the Pisans in response to an attack by the Aragonese. Originally, the castle had stairs built with large granite boulders, four towers with polygonal walls, an upper and a lower square.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the castle is reduced to a few buildings, it was destroyed by bombing in World War II, however, two rooms, a rainwater collection cistern and the donjon are still visible.
