Sa position domine tout le territoire environnant et le Golfo di Olbia.<\/p>\n<p>Construit vers 1200 avec des pierres locales, il a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9 par les Pisans en r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 une attaque des Aragonais. \u00c0 l'origine, le ch\u00e2teau avait des escaliers construits avec de gros blocs de granit, quatre tours aux murs polygonaux, une place sup\u00e9rieure et une place inf\u00e9rieure.<\/p>\n<p>Aujourd'hui, le ch\u00e2teau est r\u00e9duit \u00e0 quelques b\u00e2timents, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9truit par les bombardements de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, cependant, deux pi\u00e8ces, une citerne de r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration des eaux de pluie et le donjon sont encore visibles. C'est l'une des tombes des g\u00e9ants les plus importantes de Sardaigne en termes de taille.<\/p>\n<p>La structure se compose d'un couloir recouvert de dalles horizontales et d'un espace semi-circulaire appel\u00e9 ex\u00e8dre. Le monument a probablement \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9rig\u00e9 en deux phases, \u00e0 l'\u00e2ge du bronze pr\u00e9coce et \u00e0 l'\u00e2ge du bronze moyen.<\/p>\n<p>Pendant la saison estivale, l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la Tombe des G\u00e9ants peut \u00e9galement se faire avec un guide qui explique la structure et son utilisation.
